Fatima Rangwala, MD, PhD

Vice President of Clinical Development

Fatima joined Shattuck in August 2018 as the VP of Clinical Development. Prior to joining Shattuck, Fatima joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2014 and then moved to Novartis in 2015 where she was a Senior Clinical Development Medical Director and GI indications lead. Fatima completed her BA with honors in biology at University of Chicago in 1997 and then went on to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where she received her MD, PhD in 2005. Fatima then moved to Duke University where she completed internal medicine and oncology fellowship training in 2011. She then came on faculty at Duke as an assistant professor in the Division of Oncology. While at Duke, she practiced gastrointestinal oncology and was the principal investigator on multiple phase I, II and III oncology clinical trials.
